Tip of the Day: Before you start editing, finished writing.

A big portion of the editing process is to examine the story as a whole: the plot, the characters, the setting. In many ways, it’s a waste of time to edit a section of the story if the story is still not finished. Complete that first draft before you start the hard slot of editing. Remember, it’s not done until you write the words The End.
