Tip of the Day: Adverbs have a place…

Some subscribe to the theory that you should never use adverbs, but they do have their place. Sometimes they add that something more. Let’s face it, a spindly branch is better than saying thin branch.

    • In this case, yes, spindly is being used as an adjective, so it probably wasn’t the best example, but the point is still valid. Those adverbs are in the dictionary for a reason: because they were meant to be used.
